Welcome to our 500 CLUB – a great way for you to support us whilst having a bit of a flutter! Here’s how it works…
You buy (subscribe to) one or more “shares” in the Club. Each share has a unique number that is entered into the draw. A share subscription costs £36 a year.
You complete and sign the attached lottery membership form and Standing Order (SO) mandate for £36 for each share you subscribe to. You then take/send your mandate to your bank. Once your bank has made your payment, in full, your number will be included in the draws. The Lottery year starts 1st January and your SO payment must be received before the 4th January to be included in the January draw. The first draw will be the 9th Jan 2016 if a minimum of 21 shares in total have been subscribed to.
You may join during the year at the quarter dates. Payment must be received by 1st April, 1st July or 1st October. The SO payment must initially be for the remainder of the year. So if you wish to start with the July draw your payment must be for 6 months or £18. Thereafter the full payment should be made.
Remember that it may take the bank several weeks to process a manual SO. Please take this into account. For this reason we recommend completing your SO online if you have the facility. The SO form has space for a first payment of less than the full year.
You may purchase more than one share. All participants must be over 16. Share subscriptions may not be transferred and are not refundable.
Draws will take place as far as possible at party events; Conferences, St George’s Day Dinner, Summer Social and Christmas Diner.
If you win, a cheque will be posted to your home address and the name of the winners published in English Voice.
