Electioneering!

Well! Or as we say in our family “What’s the use of a well without a bucket”. I suppose in this case the ‘bucket’ is the combination of my Palm Pre smartphone and an application called Poster. The two together allow me to sit here, at my English Democrats stand in Stevenage Town Centre, and create and upload this post in between talking to people. Such ia the world of modern technology!
How is it going, you ask? Well, there’s that well again, not to badly. Thank you for asking!
People walk, about half of tme read the posters blu tacked to the pasting table I am using and some stop to chat.
Comments vary. One Irishman said he was pleased to see someone standing up for England at last! All have been favourable. No one mentions last night’s leaders’ debate except one lady who said she had watched part of it. But she said this with a sniff that indicated she had better things to do with her time.
Will Stevenage vote for their English Democrats candidate (me in case you hadn’ guessed) on May 6th? Some will. Will there be enough for me to change from counting sheep at night to go to sleep to counting votes? That’s the question that keeps me awake.
